Rain Puddles!

Last night after dinner we went outside to take Buddy out and Burke wanted to walk so I let him...Wouldn't you know he went right for the big puddles of water. He loves splashing and so he really got a kick out of jumping in the puddles!

Brookfield Zoo

The 3 of us had the best time at the Zoo last weekend! The zoo was huge and there was a lot to see. Burke would point at the animals when he saw them. The monkeys were very entertaining to him. We went into the children zoo too. He really liked seeing all of the animals up close and petting them :)

On our way home we stopped by Paul's work to see his new office. Burke of course found a balloon there which made him so happy!

Climbing, Visit to Lafayette, and Reghan

Burke can get to just about everything now. Before he would stand on something to get up higher now he just wiggles his way up on his own. He's constantly surprising me!

My mom and I drove to Matt and Courts Tuesday. It happened to be the day that all of their things for Italy arrived (123 boxes to be exact)! We played with the kids while Court checked off the boxes for the moving men.

I started watching our niece Reghan last week. She'll be at our house on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Burke lights up every time she gets dropped off. He really enjoys playing with her.

Labor Day weekend!

Friday evening we went to the Blueberry Festival with Lisa, Nathan and Ethan. The boys rode in Ethan's wagon. We mainly just ate and walked around.

Saturday we went to Valpo to Borders to get a book on baby sign language and ate at Red Robin. Burke LOVED there fries. He kept signing that he wanted more.

Sunday we had a cookout at our house. Sue, Laurie, Jeff, John, Amanda and the kids came. Somehow I lalways just get pictures of the kids...

We had a very nice 4 day weekend:)

Don't give up on us...

I have so many posts I would like to do but it's a pain to do it on Paul computer upstairs because Burke is fascinated by the bright green light and has to turn the computer off whenever he turns it on. So I have ordered a new piece for my laptop so I can update on a regular basis! The removable drive should arrive at the end of this week. So be on the look out; a new post is coming soon :)

Fox Park Concert 8-22-09 (2 post Wednesday)

A big group of us meet at the park to listen to bands play. We stayed for a couple hours. It was relaxing sitting outside and watching the kids play.

After the concerts Jeff, Jen, Lisa, Nathan, Ethan, Robert, and Carrie came back to our house for dinner and drinks. We had so much fun. It was nice to hang out with all of them.

(Another new post below!! I've been slacking lately b/c everytime I try to update Burke turns the computer off multiple times and it take FOREVER to post anything But I got it done today!! )

Playdate with the Penziol Cousins on 8-20-09

Last week Ava, Aiden and Addison came over for a playdate. We try to get together once a week. Burke loves playing with them!

Later that night Rylee and Reghan came over for a visit :)

Burke loves opening his drawer and crawling in it. We finally put the locks on it.

Buddy finally got a hair cut. Now he has less hair for Burke to pull.
