Thanksgiving

We stayed at Laurie Zmuda's house Wednesday in preparation for Thanksgiving. Paul made a deep fried turkey this year. It was the first time we have done this and it turned out good! I guess I was slacking on the pictures b/c we didn't take many. We brought the wii home and Rylee and Reghan had fun playing it and so did Uncle Jeff! It was an eventful day with all of the little ones. Our 2nd stop was at the Richards Thanksgiving. Where we hung out with the Fam and ate some more:)

The Fam

5 months old Nov 19th 2008

Today our baby boy is 5 months old. I took him today to get weighed (17.9lbs). He's growing like crazy. He can sit up by himself! He does great with his balance. He still topples over eveyonce in a while. It's a work in progress. But he's doing great for being 22 weeks. Burke LOVES to jump. Ever since I put him in that jumper he wants to do it all the time. It makes him so happy. He reaches for his toys using one hand and likes to put everything in his mouth. When we eat he just watches us. So we started putting him in his highchair while we eat. He just plays with his toys while he's in it. (We aren't giving him any food or cereal yet. Maybe around 6 months.) Burke still does great at night sleeping anywhere from 8-12 hours straight at night. He takes 2 naps during the day. Burke is very chatty in the morning when he wakes up. He likes to motor boat and raspberry with his mouth he has also figured out how to blow air out (like how we blow in his face). He also enjoys playing the piano on his activity center. He's learned a lot in the last 5 months!

Wii

So Paul and I decided to get a Wii 2 weeks ago. It's been a lot of fun. I think Paul has played it every day! Were working on our Pro status :) It's crazy how you can get sore from playing it. I guess it's a good way to burn some extra calories though!

Saturday night Betsy and Aunt Carol came over and we played for a couple hours. The time just flys. I'mzx sure there is a lot of Wii in our future...

Jumper

Today is the 1st time he's used this 'Johnny Jump Up'. I thought he was too little but I guess not! He seems to really like it. (20 1/2 weeks)

Over the weekend...

Friday Burke and I went to Paul's office for Trick or Treat. B wore his pumpkin custom. Paul got off at 2:30 so we went to Toys R Us. We can't wait until B is old enough to play with Legos and trucks! Then we walked around at Costco. By the time we got home it was time for Trick or Treat. I made treat bags for the kids and we got... 13 kids. I love passing out the candy in LP since there are so many kids.

Saturday we went out to dinner with Doug, Courtney and their little girl Grace. Burke did a great job of entertaining himself as he sat on my lap as we ate.

Sunday we went to see Betsy and Dave's apartment. Burke got to meet Tootsie their baby :) We went to Dave's fav restaurant 'The Ram' then we walked around down town Indy. It was a beautiful day! Burke is quite the traveler.

Oh most importantly Burke's latest accomplishment- he put his foot in his mouth today.
