Were in!

Thanks to a lot of helpers we are moved into our new house! Well we still have a ton of boxes in the garage to sort through but we have everything that we need and all of our furniture set up! Were bringing in a box at a time to put it away. I'm sure this will give me something to do for a long time. Today I'm working on Burke's closet...

Burke has been such a trooper. He is really enjoying all of the space on the main floor. He can crawl or walk any where he wants. Did I mention that he can WALK now!! It's so cute. I have a video of it and some day will post it. Also Burke took a 2 hour nap in his crib. Were slowing working on this transition from our bed to his beautiful crib that's never been used.

Let me end by saying that We LOVE LOVE LOVE our new house :)

Art in the Park

Thursday night we went to Fox park. They have to concerts a week (Wed & Thurs). This is the 1st one we have gone to this year. There were A LOT of people there, too bad we got rained out after an hour.

Move in day is Friday!

We just got the call that we are closing on our house this Friday at 2pm!!!!!!!!!
Were working on renting the truck now! We plan on moving half in on Friday and the rest on Saturday when we have more help. (Thanks in advance to our helpers!)
Friday can't come soon enough :P

Lastest accomplishments

Tonight Burke took 4 steps!! I hope I capture it on video next time.
Tonight he also shook his finger at Buddy as we were telling Buddy no no.

Over the weekend Burke started making the noise of an elephant when asked.
And everytime he sees a ball he says BALL (word # 3).

Rylee's Softball game

Last Friday night Rylee had one of her last games for the year. The whole family went and watched!

Happy 4th of July

This morning we went to the LaPorte Parade. We sat with Laurie, Jeff, Sue, Kathy, Paul, Uncle Tom, Uncle Duane, and Derrick. Burke watched a little bit. He liked it when he heard music. He mainly played in his wagon and had snacks. He fell asleep on the way home. He's taking a nap now resting up for a couple parties later today. More pictures to come...

A Sneak Peak...

Ladies and Gents here's a preview of our new house! We move in less than 3 weeks.
It's a 2 story, with a 3 car garage built in 2007
Upstairs- 3 bedrooms and 2 baths
Main- Kitchen, Dinning, Livingroom (open concept), walk-in pantry, laundry room, and the office (aka Burke's play room), 1/2 bath
Basement- They already framed up (& insulated) the walls it just need drywall and carpet, it has the plumbing for a bathroom and has a 4th bedroom.
As for the yard... well it's going to need a lot of TLC! We have 2 lots which is a little over an acre.

We feel so lucky to have gotten this house and CAN NOT wait to move in!

I can't wait to post before and after picts of the inside and out!

Pool Time!

Last week we went swimming for the first time this summer. Amanda and the kids invited us to Peggy's. Burke really enjoyed being in the pool!

Paul left on Thursday to go on the annual Gull Lake golf trip. They golfed 36 Friday, 36 Saturday, and 18 Sunday. Burke and I stayed at my parents while Paul was gone. We played outside a lot. Burke was hanging out in his turtle pool and his swinging most of the time.
