Play date with Ethan

Last Friday Burke and I visited Lisa and Ethan. The boys are so cute together. We look forward to many many more playdates!

Aiden, Addison & Ava

We made a trip to Meijer with all the kiddos. Burke slept right through it. (Addison did have her hair done but she pulled it out.)
Just one of the many excursions that Amanda and I go on during the week :)

lack of pictures...

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately... I can only upload them at my mom's until I find the cords to hook from the camera to the computer. Usually I'm way better at updating but since we live in LP now most of you all ready know what we are doing :) I have a bunch of pict's to post I'll try to do it this week. I know it's kind of boring just reading w/o looking at pict's of our precious boy :)

Burke has 3 teeth now. His top one popped through last week and we can see the 4th one but it isn't through just yet. We tried butternut squash again this time he liked it (no gaging like last time), he has also tried Peas, Banana Orange, (real) apple, baby cereal, & bread. He wants whatever we have. We try to trick him and put puffs on our plate so he thinks we are eating the same things. He LOVES puffs now. I can't believe how fast he can eat them. I'm sure there is more that he's tried but it's hard to think with Burke squirming on my lap.
He's a happy little guy. He reaches for everything in his sight. He figures out how to get his toys that are out of his reaches by scooting towards them. Crawling should come anytime now. If you ask Paul he's going to skip crawling and go straight to walking. What can I say he's a proud Daddy. Burke is slowing getting back in the rhythm of sleeping for longer periods at night. He used to be the BEST sleeper 8-12 hours straight but once his teeth started coming through that stopped. Lately he's been sleeping for about 5 hours at a time which is pretty good I guess.
This week He'll be 8 months so I'll definitely be posting some pictures

We are pretty much settled in. At times it can be challenging trying to remember where we packed some things. For example almost all of Burke's 12 month clothes are at the back of our storage unit. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get them out.
It is so nice being able to visit people whenever we want! My days stay pretty busy. Paul likes his job and he gets him a little before 5. That part is really nice for me and Burke.
Our house has been on the market for a month now. We have had a lot of people through it and even more since the weather is getting nicer. We are crossing our fingers for an offer soon. Paul and I have been looking for houses but haven't really found anything that we love so we are probably going to build. We can get so much more for the money building plus have new everything what else could you ask for ?!

(so this post ended up being way longer than I thought but now you are all updated!)

We have been in LaPorte for about 1 week now. We are still getting settled in. Paul started his job Monday and so far so good! When Paul gets home Burke smiles at him and blabbers. He gets so exctied to see him.
Burke and I have been busy unpacking and visiting.
Monday we went to John and Amanda's and played with the kids. Ava is something else. She rode in my car when we went to the post office and she said 'You need to clean your car' (I laughed...my car always needs to be cleaned.) Then she said there's stuff on the window followed by ' You want me to come to your house and help clean your car!' She was cracking me up :) I'm sure we will be spending many afternoons over there...
Tuesday we had lunch with my mom at the hospital and then hung out with my dad. It's nice being able to visit people during the day.

Burke update:
He has 2 bottom teeth and his 2 upper teeth are getting ready to break through any time. He is a good eater. About 2 weeks ago we tried giving him puffs. He hasn't very sure of them but ate them. Today when I gave him some he let them melt in his mouth and would open right up to get some more.
When Burke is on his stomach he scoots backwards and is trying to crawl by putting his butt up in the air and putting his legs underneath. He's trying :) I'm sure it won't be long.

Good Luck Daddy!

Today is Paul's 1st day at his new job. We hope it goes great! Change is always hard but it will be well worth it :)
