Family Birthday Party!

We had Burke's Birthday Party on Sunday June 21st. He had a great party. Thank you all so much for coming!! Burke can't wait to play with all of his new toys and clothes :)

The two pictures below were from Friday on his actual birthday. He had a mini cupcake and loved the frosting.

Moms club playdate for Burke's Birthday!

This morning we had some of the Mom's club over to play (10 moms and 15 kids). The kids had a lot of fun. I'm so glad we had them over!

We have been working on pointing out body parts and on Sunday when I asked him if I could see his tongue he showed me. I thought it was a fluke but when you ask him he still does it. He's so smart!

Homeless

Paul, Burke and I drove down to our house one last time Monday afternoon. We drove around the area a little bit then went to our house, where we meet the new owners. (It puts things into prospective when you actually meet the people you have been writing offers back and forth to.) Anyways we showed them around the 'hood, told them a little more about the house. After that we went to Kona Grill and had some sushi. We slept on the floor in our empty house one last time. Tuesday morning was our closing at 9 am and it went very smooth. We arrive back in LaPorte around noon.

This morning I surprised Laurie and Burke with an art project. Burke got to paint for the first time. He wasn't too sure of what to do at first, but after he saw that he could get away with about anything he was totally into it.

11 months and already driving!

Our baby boy is 11 months old today. We got this car over the weekend. Burke already LOVES it. His feet barely touch the ground so he stood up and walked to make it move. He's so smart!

LaPorte Herald Argus is having the Cutest Baby Contest so of course we had to enter Burke. They have a 0-9 month, and a 10-18 month group. Burke is in the 10-18 mo. Here's some pictures in case you didn't see him in the paper last Friday!
