Just Because

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laurie and I have known for a little while now, but we just went for our first doctor's visit on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Laurie is 9 weeks along right now. We are very excited and can't wait for Ace and Buddy to have another sibling.

Lucas and Jill's Wedding

Saturday night Laurie and I went to one of my college buddy's wedding. It was a blast. We caught up with old friends and got to know Jill's family a little better. Joe had a great time cutting it up on the dance floor and Mike got the baby sitting bug.

Bathroom, Check!

We finished our bathroom remodel about a week ago. It was a total revamp of the bathroom except for the shower. Laurie and I pulled everything out and started from scratch. I layed new tile, installed a four foot tall bead board and trimmed it out, and installed a new sink and toilet. And we put in a new light and matching hardware. It was a pretty good project. Laurie got her feet wet with a little bit of everything from tile work to electrical to plumbing. We took a bunch of pictures but you'll just have to come visit to see the rest for yourself.

The Projects Never Stop!!!

We are in the midst of a couple of projects right now. Can you tell I'm a Penziol. I told Laurie, when I was growing up that our dad always had a bunch of projects going at the same time. So today I gutted the spare bathroom. Everything except the shower is out now. We are also putting tile in the kitchen, entry way, and mud room. We ordered a little extra tile so we could also redo the spare bathroom floor. Busy, Busy!

Jon and Mary's Party

Laurie has a tradition of passing out Halloween candy at her mom and dad's house every year. She loves seeing all the kids dressed up from her neighborhood. Derrick and Barbie dropped by with rest of the family to say Hi too.

Switching it up a little

Laurie and I rearranged the living room furniture a couple nights ago. It feels like a totally different house now when you walk in. We love our sectional but it can limit how we can arrange things in this space for sure. We found a great new location for it though. Oh, and here is a picture of buddy after he just got done rubbing his face on the floor.
