Burke's first Colts Game

Last night Laurie, Burke and I went to the first ever home game at the new Lucas Oil Stadium. It was amazing. The new stadium is huge. We had a great time and Burke did awesome. We are finding out that he is a really easy baby to take places. You just have to be prepared to do what he wants to do. If he is ready to eat you have to be ontop of things or it could get ugly. So far in his first 2 months of life he has gotten to experience more than a lot of adults.

The new stadium was really cool. It has a retractable roof that they opened right before the game started so everyone could experience it. The north wall also slides open so there is a cross wind as well.

8 weeks old

It's funny what you can fit into when your little. This bucket was a gift from Uncle John and Aunt Amanda Penziol.
Burke is about 11 pounds right now. His 2 month check is next week so we'll get an accurate weight then.

Visitors

Last week on Tuesday Laurie Zmuda (the former Laurie Penziol) brought our niece Rylee down to visit for 2 days. During the day Rylee played Tony Hawk on Uncle Paul's playstation, we played manacala (a mable game) that Rylee got real good at, went to the library book sale, and just hung out at the house. Tuesday night we all went to Bubs for dinner and ice cream. We had a nice time. This was the farthest Rylee has stayed away from home w/o her parents and she did great!

Random pics

Burke loves his sling! If he's upset this really soothes him and he goes right to sleep. We have a new carrier on the way. Burke will be able to see out in the new one. We can't wait :)

B and his Momma posing in the backyard

I'm not sure if he likes having his picture taken or it could be the fact that he doesn't like being put down. (Thanks for the shirt Jen G)

Thursday I'll post his 8 week stats. You won't believe how much he's grown!

Rough night

Last night Burke was so tired but just wouldn't give in. The shirt he's wearing today is very appropriate It says 'I'm in charge around here' (7 Weeks Old)
Sorry Daddy. I know it was hard for you to get up for work this morning. - love Burke

Look how long I am!

Little Swimmer

On Sunday we stopped by Laurie's Uncle Jim and Aunt Jenny's house for a cook out and to lounge in the pool. It was Burke's first time in a pool. He hates taking baths, so we weren't sure how he would like the pool. Fortunatley, he loved it. Burke fussed for a few minutes at first but really started to like it after a little while.
