Laurie has a tradition of passing out Halloween candy at her mom and dad's house every year. She loves seeing all the kids dressed up from her neighborhood. Derrick and Barbie dropped by with rest of the family to say Hi too.

Switching it up a little

Laurie and I rearranged the living room furniture a couple nights ago. It feels like a totally different house now when you walk in. We love our sectional but it can limit how we can arrange things in this space for sure. We found a great new location for it though. Oh, and here is a picture of buddy after he just got done rubbing his face on the floor.

Busy Weekend

This past weekend Stan and Sue stayed the night on their way to the Covered Bridge festival. They left around 6:30 Saturday morning and Paul got up nice and early and made them breakfast around 6am!
We spent the weekend working around the house and yard. I finally winterized the grass and planted some seed. We also did some redecorating. We have rearranged out furniture and put up new curtains and rods. It has made has a difference. (Pictures will come soon.) Sunday afternoon Paul had some guys over to watch football. We had a busy weekend.

Happy Birthday Laurie!

This weekend was Laurie Zmuda's birthday. We had the entire family home this weekend. Laurie and I got to see everyone.

Long week

Paul was in North Carolina for work all last week. Laurie Z was nice enough to stay with me one night. We laid around and watched 'Blades of Glory.' It was pretty funny.

This weekend Kathy and Paul came down to visit. Mom and I went to Conner Prairie and Paul P., Paul R., and Paul M. went golfing at a real nice course called Prairie View. We had a nice weekend. Who's coming to visit next weekend?!

Bed Time

Laurie and I have been building a new platform bed for a couple weeks. We saw a real nice design on one of the shows on TLC about a month ago and decided we can make it pretty easily. Here are some pics of the back breaking labor we have been doing.

Weekend in St. Louis

This weekend Laurie, Buddy and I drove down to St. Louis to visit with John, Amanda, Ava and the 2 new editions to the family. We tried to get our fill of the twins but also keep Ava involved too.
