Playing in the SNOW!

Today Burke played in the snow for the 1st time!! He did like it. It was really hard for him to walk in the boots though so I mainly pulled him on the sled. He had the biggest smile on his face and was laughing while I was running pulling him. Paul made a little fort for Reghan to play in. I'd say it was a success and we'll have to do it again this weekend :)

I had every intention of posting new pictures today but can't find my camera at the moment. I'll find it and try to post later. I got a new camera for Christmas and it has all kinds of editing options. I'm still figuring it all out but it's really nice. Check back later!!

We all had a great Christmas. Paul and I are so thankful for Burke. He is so much fun!
Burke enjoyed opening his presents this year:) He loves playing on all of his new toys. This year he got a powerwheels lawn mower, tool bench, bouncing horse, Yo Gabba toys, clothes/Pj's, coats, golf set, shopping cart w/ food . . .
A big thanks to all the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Great Aunts and Great Uncles, and friends for all the gifts for Burke

Snow!

It doesn't really feel like Christmas time to me until we have snow on the ground.
This is what I woke up to Saturday morning. It was so beautiful!

burke's room update!

Burke has slept in his car bed all night for the past 4 nights!

Burke's Room

We painted Burke's room a couple weeks ago. It looks like a boys room now! I think his room is the most under used room in the whole house but it looks great! Maybe some day he'll sleep in there. For now he's TERRIFIED of his bed.

This is his other bed in our room. He likes to play in it. He actually did sleep in this bed for the 1st time last night. I can't believe that he slept all night in it! We'll see what happens tonight

Yo Gabba Gabba!

Burke LOVES Yo Gabba. If he wants to watch it he just keeps saying Yo Yo or will stand in front of the TV and dance waiting for us to turn it on! Thank goodness for On Demand so he can watch them whenever he wants. We also have a dvd of it. The show has a lot of singing and dancing in it and Burke dances right along with it. I highly recommend it!

He aways points to the Yo Gabba items in the store and even cried one day when I put it back on the shelf. I think this year he will get plenty of Yo Gabba toys :) Recently he got a book. He walks around the house with it and looks through it. This night he feel asleep holding on to it.

Thankful!

Here are a couple (of the many) things I am thankful for this year....

*To be able to be a stay at home mom ( a BIG thanks to Paul on this one! Without him this wouldn't be possible)

*A loving husband and da da that would do anything for us

*A healthy, happy Burke

*Both of our families! Since we moved back we spend alot more time together.

*reuniting with old friends

*Being back in LP! I love living so close to all of our family again.

This year we had dinner at our house. We had 20 people over!!! Everyone pitched in to make a great meal :) Paul made 2 deep fried turkey which turned out so juicy. We all managed to fit in the dinning room with 2 table set up.

Shortly after dinner we went to Kevin and Heathers for desserts. She made a ton of them. I don't think they all fit in the picture it took!

Mega Blocks!

Burke likes to stack things now! He drags the bag of blocks out when he wants to play. He will sit and play this for a long time. He likes building it up and taking it down and he even helps with the clean up :)
(As you can tell he got another hair cut a couple weeks ago. It's so hard to cut those beautiful blonde locks!)
