Baby's Room

This is the crib and dresser set that we ordered for the baby's room. We are excited to get this stuff and start putting the room together. The room color right now is pretty neurtral so I don't think we will have to paint much. This weekend Laurie and I went to Babies R Us and registered. I couldn't believe how much stuff they pack into that store. We had fun going through and looking at everything though.

Updates

Laurie and I are doing pretty well. We just went in for our 20 week doctors appointment yesterday. The baby is healthy and growing like he should be. Laurie is doing just fine as well. We are still on track for a due date at the end of June. We are tossing around a bunch of boy names but nothing is for sure yet. We found a crib that we really liked and ordered it a cuople days ago. Unfortunately, that means we had to start cleaning out the office bedroom to make room for everything. One of Laurie's friends at work wanted the big "L" shaped desk we had in there so that helped free up some space. We are still 20 weeks away from the baby being here but he already has more clothes than me. As long as he has a couple little Golf shirts I'm fine with it. He's going to be Daddy's little golf partner. Other than that, not much has changed recently.

Floors

Laurie and I finally finished up the tile floors last weekend. It was an ongoing project that never seemed to get finished. We were either out of town or didn't have the motivation to finish everything after workdays. I used Laurie's pregnancy excuse a couple of times to get out of working on them too. Hope you like em.

Paul's Birthday

It's a BOY!!!

Yesterday, Laurie and I went to the doctor for a checkup and found out that we are having a healthy baby boy. We are really excited. We weren't hoping one way or the other, we are just happy that everything is going well with the pregnancy and that the baby is healthy. Now that we know what the sex of the baby is, we can start decorating the nursery.

Florida Vacation

Last week we took a vacation to Fort Myers Beach Florida with Laurie's family. Laurie and I rented a mini van and drove down with Paul and Kathy Richards. We met Ryan, Matt, Courtney, and nolan half way and finished the drive down together. We rented an amazing house across the street from the beach and had a great view from the big porch. The guys played a little golf with Paul's cousin Bob. He and his wife Sherrie have a condo there that they invited us to for some fishing and manatee watching.

Sorry for the wait

We have been pretty busy lately but things have started to calm down enough to where we can catch up on some posts. Christmas was a blast this year because all the kids are getting old enough to start getting some really fun presents. Plus mom and dad got themselves the little present of a new LCD TV. You can see it mounted on the wall in the basement.

Christmas Plans

Like years past the holidays are busy. This year won't be any different. We are coming home tonight and will probably stay at Paul and Kathy's house. We are bringing them the gift of Ace. He will be spending some quality time with Paul for the week. Saturday my family is having a big family reunion type party. It should be a good time. Sunday night is the Richard's family Christmas party. This year it's at the Tonagel's house. It's always a good time when everyone gets together there. Monday night is Christmas Eve, we usually spend that night with Laurie's family and then make breakfast with everyone in the morning. Tuesday afternoon will be spent back at the Penziol's. Then it's back to Indy on Tuesday evening because I have to work on Wednesday morning. Laurie is lucky and only has to work on Thursday next week. Then we leave for Florida with her family on Friday morning. We will be back on Jan. 6th if anyone needs to get a hold of us. We'll see you guys this week and if we don't, have a Merry Christmas!

More Tile work

We are slowly getting the kitchen, entryway, and mud room tile finished. We were actually able to put the washer and dryer back in the mud room last night. I'll take some more pictures of the finished product soon.
